Fall is finally here. As much as I wish it were still summer,I must say that I don’t mind the crisp cool air. Although, I can do without the shorter days!
I have been loving all the chambray that has been coming back this fall. So I decided i would get in on the action! I thought that layering this Jcrew chambray would go well with this navy vest. Layering for the fall not only looks cute but it helps to keep warm during the fall without having to wear a coat. We all know that wearing coats means winters here, and I wish I could get rid of that season all together!
I had been eyeing this Jcrew jeweled sweater for quite some time now. So when I saw that they had my size in my local Jcrew I knew it was a sign. Not only was it warm and functional (100% lambswool), but it was also super adorable and sparkly. The lovely Sarah Vickers of Classy Girls Wear Pearls did inspire me with her styling of this sweater.
When styling this outfit I drew from the colors of the sweater in order to help me pick certain accessories and pieces of clothing. This Rebecca Minkoff M.A.B. Bag went well with the whole outfit, and I thought the mahogany color was very wintery.
Pastels in the winter have been super trendy lately. So I decided to throw this outfit together with a pink pastel oxford and some bright mint green pants. Surprisingly I was very warm in this ensemble, thanks to the Jcrew cable knit sweater.
Luckily I had taken these outfit photos a couple days before we had gotten about three feet of snow. So the lack of outfit posts can be accredited to the torrential snow that we have been having lately. All I know is I am SNOW over it 🙂
Probably one of the favorites in my collection of necklaces. I love how it has both pink and pearls in it (two of my favorites!).
I had to add this Tory Burch Robinson Clutch for some added gold sparkle to the outfit.
Not to mention I am in LOVE with this jeweled sweater ( I can’t get enough of them this winter). Its the perfect statement piece for any wardrobe.
My two favorite colors happen to be pink and navy. So when I wear them together in an outfit I feel like I can take on the world!
These two colors mix extremely well together because the deep color of navy makes the vibrancy in pink pop! I decided I was going to pair a vineyard vines gingham button up with a long C. Wonder cardigan. When its cold outside I like to layer a lot, so this outfits layers helped to keep me very warm!
I loved how the necklace tied the whole outfit together with the browns, navy, and pink.
My brown riding boots have been getting a lot of wear and tear this season! These are the only ones I could find with (somewhat of ) a skinny shaft! Its harder to find boots that don’t end up looking like rain boots on me. If anyone knows of a good pair let me know. I have been longing for a beautiful cognac pair of riding boots for so long!
I loved the gold buttons on the gorgeous navy cardigan! I thought it gave the whole outfit a more polished look.Special shout out to my amazing sister for her lovely photography skills!
I hope you all enjoyed this outfit as much as I loved styling it!
Good afternoon lovely readers! I am sorry that I have not been blogging a lot quite recently. I have been very busy traveling and visiting some of my loved ones in other states. I will be sure to upload a blogpost about my recent travels soon!
Recently I had gone apple picking with my boyfriend and I decided it was the perfect backdrop for some outfit of the day photos! So here is my fall outfit that I wore to go apple and pumpkin picking.
It was quite cold outside so I was bundled up in multiple layers, and of course my favorite red scarf.
The scenery in the area was simply breathtaking. The changing of the colors of the foliage made the colors pop even more than usual.
