Whenever I wear this quilted jacket from Zara, I always feel like such a biker chick! Hence the title of this post ! This jacket is great for fall because it is insulated for the cold weather but not too warm to make you overheat. I decided to pair it with a jeweled collar top from Jcrew to add a bit of a girly look to this edgy jacket. We all know how much I love the glitz so I had to add my silver and white rose earrings and my Tory Burch silver Reva’s.
Its been so cold up here in the northeast, its almost like we skipped fall and went automatically to winter! I have been looking for a warm winter coat for this winter, and it looks like I am going to have to get one sooner than later. If anyone has any suggestions let me know!
Be sure to check back soon for a pinch of glitz and glam!
Layers, layers, layers! I can’t get enough of layers during the fall! Not only do layers look cute, but it helps to keep warm. I decided to put together a casual look thats great for everyday wear (not to mention super comfy!). This look would be great for a day of shopping, errands, or anytime you want to keep it sweet and simple! A simple embroidered shirt with a cardigan for added warmth, and a monogram necklace to add some glitz!
We were lucky to have gorgeous weather this weekend! So we decided to go apple picking (as some of you have seen from my instagram). There’s something about picking your own apples that makes them just a little bit sweeter!
Thanks for reading, check back soon for a pinch of glitz and glam!
Fall is finally here. As much as I wish it were still summer,I must say that I don’t mind the crisp cool air. Although, I can do without the shorter days!
I have been loving all the chambray that has been coming back this fall. So I decided i would get in on the action! I thought that layering this Jcrew chambray would go well with this navy vest. Layering for the fall not only looks cute but it helps to keep warm during the fall without having to wear a coat. We all know that wearing coats means winters here, and I wish I could get rid of that season all together!
Finally Spring has finally sprung! I am so excited for this weather and I can not stop planning outfits for the warmer days ahead. This outfit was more of a transition-into-spring outfit for some of the colder days. But nonetheless it is still exciting to not have to wear a heavy coat every time I step outside! This fur vest had just enough warmth for the crisp spring air.
If you couldn’t tell already I have a slight obsession with Jcrew (actually maybe LARGE obsession sums it up better). When I found out that they were having a huge sale online and in stores I knew I had to take a look. Everything on sale is an additional 40% off (select items are 50% off) of the already reduced price. Which is essentially every Jcrew lovers dream. Here are some of my spring and winter friendly picks from the sale.
My two favorite colors happen to be pink and navy. So when I wear them together in an outfit I feel like I can take on the world!
These two colors mix extremely well together because the deep color of navy makes the vibrancy in pink pop! I decided I was going to pair a vineyard vines gingham button up with a long C. Wonder cardigan. When its cold outside I like to layer a lot, so this outfits layers helped to keep me very warm!
I loved how the necklace tied the whole outfit together with the browns, navy, and pink.
My brown riding boots have been getting a lot of wear and tear this season! These are the only ones I could find with (somewhat of ) a skinny shaft! Its harder to find boots that don’t end up looking like rain boots on me. If anyone knows of a good pair let me know. I have been longing for a beautiful cognac pair of riding boots for so long!
I loved the gold buttons on the gorgeous navy cardigan! I thought it gave the whole outfit a more polished look.Special shout out to my amazing sister for her lovely photography skills!
I hope you all enjoyed this outfit as much as I loved styling it!
I thought I would post a festive and holiday themed post even though I know the holiday season is over (I always hate admitting this fact). Believe me when I say that I am counting down the days until christmas this year.
I have always had a love for the holiday season, and the sparkles and bows on all the clothing makes me love this season even more. So for this outfit, I decided to pair a cream and gold sparkle collared shirt with a Chanel-esque tweed skirt. To finish the look I had to add my Tory Burch Revas!
A bright red lipstick really helped to pull the whole outfit together.
I have been wearing the sock bun a lot lately. I love how how much of a regal affect it has on certain outfits.
These rose patterned tights added the perfect touch of feminine to this outfit.
