Spring

Finally Spring has finally sprung! I am so excited for this weather and I can not stop planning outfits for the warmer days ahead. This outfit was more of a transition-into-spring outfit for some of the colder days. But nonetheless it is still exciting to not have to wear a heavy coat every time I step outside! This fur vest had just enough warmth for the crisp spring air.

Red Coat

Pretty Little Liars has been getting pretty intense lately! So I decided to dedicate a fashion blog post to the infamous “red coat.” I am not going to give away any spoilers just in case some of you readers aren’t caught up on the series.

The weather has been fluctuating a lot lately. So I never know to dress for warm or cold weather. But today the low is 18 degrees, so I figured I would bring my jacket back out (just when I was getting used to the warm weather).

I was inspired by an outfit that the infamous Olivia Palermo had worn about a year ago. I fell in love with the ensemble when I saw it, so I decided to wear something similar with my own style!

Spinach and Sqaush

I have doing a lot of fashion posts on the blog, so I decided I would switch it up with a food post. Butternut squash has been one of my favorite vegetables this winter. I have loved experimenting with it in different dishes, and this dish I made for dinner last night was one of them. The original recipe calls for pumpkin, but I decided to switch it out for butternut squash. It also calls for a lot more butter than the healthy amount, so I put about a fourth of what was called for (still an unhealthy amount). Here is the finished product!DSC_0632

Finished it off with some freshly grated parmesan!

Sequins and Pink

Since it’s March (and soon to be day light savings time) doesn’t that mean that spring should be here already? I have been aching for the spring, but all the weather seems to be doing is snowing rather than the sun shining. This pastel pink blazer with gold buttons helps to bring a little bit of spring to my outfit. Hopefully spring will be here soon around the corner, but for now we can pretend.

This gorgeous Francessca’s bracelet brought different colors from the outfit together. Thanks to one of my best friends for this lovely christmas present!

I love this Tory 797 Satchel with the distressed leather and gold hardware. It helps that it can be worn with any outfit!
